Anamnesis, derived from the Ancient Greek philosophical concept of a “return to knowledge once known at birth,” is a trio of experimental sound healers and journeyers Aaron Kahn, Austin Kourakin and Sequoia. Aaron, a trumpet player on the rise in the contemporary classical/Jewish music world, and Austin, Certified Sound Healer and holistic health expert, are the founders of this group. Anamnesis’ purpose is to bring healing, insight and awareness to audiences through layered textures of interplaying melodies, harmonies and digital effects with some of the the most up-to-date music technology available via Ableton.
